Mind over heat: digital hypnosis trial targets debilitating hot flashes in breast cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06552091
Summary
This study is testing whether daily guided self-hypnosis sessions delivered through a digital app can reduce hot flashes in breast cancer patients taking hormone therapy. Researchers will enroll 76 women experiencing frequent hot flashes to see if this non-drug approach improves their symptoms, sleep, and quality of life. The goal is to help patients better tolerate treatment side effects and potentially stay on their cancer medications longer.
