Your phone could be your physical therapist: app aims to speed joint surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT07199478

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app can help people recover better after hip or knee replacement surgery. About 140 patients will use the app alongside standard recovery care to see if it improves their movement and reduces pain six weeks after surgery. The app provides personalized exercise plans, tracks progress, and offers support, aiming to make recovery at home easier and more effective.
