Can working out at home before surgery reduce complications?
NCT ID NCT06137781
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a 6-week online exercise program could help patients get fitter at home before major surgery. Researchers enrolled 35 adults aged 50+ awaiting procedures like joint replacements or abdominal surgery. The goal was to see if patients would use the program consistently, which would help decide if a larger study to measure its effectiveness is worthwhile.
