Can stories of hope from other teens help stop suicidal thoughts?
NCT ID NCT06349915
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app that delivers daily stories from other Bronx teens who have recovered from suicidal thoughts. Researchers want to see if hearing these personal recovery stories can help reduce the intensity of suicidal thoughts in at-risk adolescents over a 14-day period. The study is focused on helping teens in underserved communities where access to mental health care is limited.
