Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app featuring recovery stories from other teens can help reduce suicidal thoughts in at-risk adolescents. About 46 teens from The Bronx who have had recent suicidal thoughts and depression will use the app for a short time. The goal is to see if hearing from peers who have been through similar struggles makes them feel less alone and more able to resist suicidal urges.
