Can text messages and tablets beat teen anemia?

NCT ID NCT07493772

Summary

This study aims to see if adding digital education to a standard vitamin pill program can better reduce anemia in teenagers. It will enroll 1,200 adolescents in Tanzania, giving all participants nutrition advice and vitamin tablets. Some will also get weekly text messages, and others will get those messages plus interactive group sessions, to see which approach works best over 9 months.
