Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week digital home exercise program, with or without personal coaching, helps adults 65 and older become more active after total hip replacement. About 213 participants will be randomly assigned to the tablet program, the program plus coaching, or usual care. Physical activity is measured with a body-worn sensor before and after surgery.
