Heart failure patients play their way to better health in new game-based study

NCT ID NCT05056129

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a sensor-controlled digital game can motivate adults with heart failure to regularly check their weight and stay active. About 200 participants will either get the game plus sensors or just the sensors alone. The goal is to see if making self-care feel more like a game improves how often people follow their daily health routines.
