Phone app trial aims to tame diabetes
NCT ID NCT05026528
Summary
This study tested whether a 10-week digital education program could help people with recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes manage their condition better than standard care alone. Participants used a smartphone or computer app with nurse support to learn about diet, exercise, and monitoring. The main goal was to see if the program improved long-term blood sugar control and reduced heart disease risk factors.
