Digital dentists seek perfect fit for jaw pain splints
NCT ID NCT07356622
Summary
This study tested different digital scanning methods used to create custom dental splints for people with jaw disorders. Ten participants received splints made using four different digital workflows. Researchers measured how much material had to be filed down by a dentist to make each splint fit comfortably, to see which digital method was most accurate.
