Smart toothbrush app aims to outsmart bad brushing habits
NCT ID NCT07167875
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized digital coaching program, delivered through a mobile app and a smart toothbrush, can help adults brush their teeth more consistently and effectively than traditional instructions alone. 230 adults from California community dental clinics will be randomly assigned to either use the digital coaching program or continue with standard instructions for 19 weeks. The smart toothbrush will track brushing habits to see which approach leads to better daily routines.
