New digital eye could spot bile duct cancer earlier

Summary

This study looks at whether a new digital scope can better tell the difference between cancerous and non-cancerous narrowings in the bile duct. Current methods often miss cancer, so doctors want to see if this tool improves accuracy. About 40 adults with bile duct narrowing will have the scope used during a standard procedure to check how well it works.
