New digital eye could spot bile duct cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT03307382
First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new digital scope can better tell the difference between cancerous and non-cancerous narrowings in the bile duct. Current methods often miss cancer, so doctors want to see if this tool improves accuracy. About 40 adults with bile duct narrowing will have the scope used during a standard procedure to check how well it works.
