Digital guides aim to simplify complex cancer risk info for families
NCT ID NCT05736497
Summary
This study tested whether digital care plans and text message reminders could help families understand and manage inherited cancer risk in children. Researchers created these tools for 10 common genetic conditions and measured how well families could use them, what they learned, and how they felt. The goal was to see if this digital approach could bridge the gap between complex medical guidelines and family understanding.
