Summary
This study tested a single, one-hour school program called Digital Bodies, designed to help teens challenge unrealistic appearance ideals they see online. Nearly 450 Italian high school students took part, with some receiving the session and others serving as a waitlist control. Researchers measured body satisfaction, internalization of appearance ideals, and self-objectification at baseline, right after the session, and eight weeks later.
