First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at different digital ways to record how teeth fit together when making a special mouthguard (Michigan splint) for jaw pain. Ten adults each got a splint made using different digital methods, and the researchers measured how much adjustment was needed when fitting the splint. The goal was to find which digital method gives the most accurate fit, reducing chair time and improving treatment for temporomandibular disorders.
