Smart watches could unlock new way to track autism treatment

NCT ID NCT04805957

Summary

This small pilot study aims to see if data from wearable sensors (like smart watches) can help researchers better understand how a compound called sulforaphane might affect autism symptoms. The study involves 10 young men with autism who are already taking sulforaphane. Researchers will compare data from the sensors—tracking things like heart rate and movement—with standard paper questionnaires to see if the digital measurements provide clearer insights.
