Tablet art therapy may soothe young ICU patients

Summary
This study tests whether a short, nurse-guided digital art relaxation program on a tablet can help children aged 7 to 12 in the pediatric intensive care unit feel less anxious and emotionally distressed. Sixty children will be randomly assigned to either receive three art sessions or standard care. Researchers will measure changes in vital signs, anxiety, and emotional well-being before and after the program.
