Phone app aims to ease the mental toll of leukemia treatment

NCT ID NCT06472128

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app called DREAMLAND can help improve the quality of life and emotional well-being of adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) while they are in the hospital for intensive chemotherapy. The app provides coping skills, education, and psychological support. Researchers will compare the app's effects to a different health app in 200 participants to see if it better reduces anxiety, depression, and symptom burden.
