App attack on fatty liver: new study tests digital weight loss for HIV patients

Summary

This study tests if a mobile app providing personalized lifestyle coaching can help people living with HIV and fatty liver disease lose at least 5% of their body weight. About 116 adults will be randomly assigned to use the app or receive standard healthy living advice. The goal is to find a simple, practical tool to improve liver health and overall well-being.
