Summary
This study is creating a digital decision aid to help older adults with heart failure decide whether to get an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). The device can prevent sudden cardiac death but has downsides. Researchers will use surveys and interviews with 600 participants to develop and refine the tool, which will later be tested in a clinical trial.
