Phone app aims to ease the fear and burden of irregular heartbeat
NCT ID NCT06500988
Summary
This study is testing a new digital toolkit—a mobile app and online program—designed to help people with atrial fibrillation (AFib) better manage their condition. Researchers want to see if using this tool improves patients' quality of life by helping them understand treatment options, stick to healthy habits, and feel less anxious during AFib episodes. About 250 adults with AFib and a higher body weight will be randomly assigned to use the digital toolkit or receive standard care to compare the results.
