First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether having a dietitian help with meal ordering and nutrition care can improve how much hospital patients with lung disease eat. It included 41 adults at nutritional risk who were expected to stay at least 48 hours. Researchers measured daily food intake and tracked whether patients were readmitted within 30 days after leaving the hospital.
