First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether having a dietitian help with meal ordering in the hospital can improve how much patients eat and prevent them from being readmitted after they go home. It included 41 adults with lung disease who were at risk of malnutrition. Researchers measured daily food intake and tracked readmissions within 30 days, along with patient satisfaction.
