Can a daily pill boost muscle strength as we age?
NCT ID NCT07231783
Summary
This study is testing whether a dietary supplement called Mitopure® can help improve muscle strength and physical performance in healthy middle-aged adults. It will involve 120 participants, aged 40-65 with low activity levels, who will take either the supplement or a placebo daily for six months. Researchers will measure changes in leg and shoulder strength, body composition, and jump height to see if the supplement makes a difference.
