NCT ID NCT06712719

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how the amount of phosphorus in food affects phosphorus and calcium balance in people with moderate chronic kidney disease (CKD). Researchers will have 14 participants follow both a low-phosphorus and a high-phosphorus diet for 19 days each, then measure phosphorus and calcium in urine, stool, and blood. The goal is to better understand how the body handles these minerals in CKD, which may help guide future dietary advice.
