NCT ID NCT06380101

Summary

This study is testing if a special medical food that restricts certain building blocks (nonessential amino acids) is safe, tolerable, and practical for patients to use. It will be given alongside the standard treatment plan of radiation and chemotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer. The main goal is to see if patients can stick to the diet and how it affects their body's response to cancer treatment.
