NCT ID NCT07420023

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of dietary fiber, when added to foods like scones, affect blood sugar levels, feelings of fullness, and gut bacteria. Overweight but otherwise healthy adults will eat seven different fiber-enriched scone recipes and have their blood sugar monitored continuously. The goal is to find the best fiber combinations to help control blood sugar and improve health, which could lead to better processed foods in the future.
