First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether group food and nutrition education, based on Brazil's official dietary guidelines, can help adults with overweight or obesity eat better and lose weight. About 60 participants will attend four monthly group sessions or receive individual counseling. Researchers will compare changes in diet quality, body measurements, and blood tests to see if group classes work as well as personal advice.
