Can a special diet stop Crohn's disease before it starts?

NCT ID NCT05211518

Summary

This study tested whether following a specific 'Tasty & Healthy' diet for 8 weeks could lower biological markers associated with the future risk of developing Crohn's disease. It involved 29 healthy people who were close relatives of someone with Crohn's and had elevated risk markers. Researchers measured changes in gut inflammation and other risk scores to see if the diet could be a preventive strategy.
