Could your diet change your cancer risk? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06635005
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific diet designed to lower insulin levels in the blood can help reduce the risk of breast cancer in women who are at high risk. Researchers will work with 30 postmenopausal women to see if this eating plan is practical to follow and if it leads to changes in health markers linked to cancer risk. The diet focuses on plant-based proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and fiber, and participants will receive education and counseling to help them follow it.
