Summary

This study is testing whether a specific heart-healthy diet, when combined with plant-based or krill oil supplements, can better control cholesterol levels in people with a genetic condition that causes very high cholesterol. 300 participants in Brazil will follow the diet and be randomly assigned to take either the supplements or placebos for 120 days. The main goal is to see which combination most effectively lowers the 'bad' LDL cholesterol and another harmful fat in the blood.
