Can a special diet and probiotic pill help control PCOS?

NCT ID NCT07342946

Summary

This study is testing whether a reduced-calorie Mediterranean diet, combined with a special gut-health supplement, can help manage symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in overweight women. For 8 weeks, 32 participants will follow the diet, with half also taking the supplement and half taking a placebo pill. Researchers will measure changes in weight, body measurements, blood markers, and quality of life to see if the supplement adds any benefit to the diet alone.
