Can a mediterranean diet change prostate cancer biology before surgery?

NCT ID NCT04985565

Summary

This study is testing whether it's practical for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer to follow a strict Mediterranean diet for four weeks before their scheduled surgery. The main goal is to see if patients can stick to the diet and to measure how it affects their body chemistry and gut bacteria. The information gathered will help researchers understand if diet changes before surgery could be a useful part of future treatment plans.
