Diet showdown: which eating plan best fights fatty liver?
NCT ID NCT07304336
Summary
This study compared three different diets to see which one best helps manage fatty liver disease (MASLD). 173 overweight or obese adults with the condition were randomly assigned to follow either a Mediterranean diet, a low-carbohydrate diet, or standard nutritional advice for six months. Researchers measured changes in liver fat, body composition, and blood markers to determine which dietary approach was most effective.
