Can lifestyle changes tame IBD flares? new trial combines mind, diet & meds

NCT ID NCT07168499

Summary

This study is testing whether adding personalized diet advice and stress management techniques to standard advanced medications helps people with active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis achieve better symptom control. Researchers will compare four different timing approaches for these lifestyle supports in 160 adults who are starting new medication. The main goal is to see if the combined approach leads to more people reaching remission by 12 weeks.
