Can a dietitian help military moms shed baby weight and stay fit for duty?

NCT ID NCT05518604

Summary

This study is testing whether one-on-one virtual coaching from a dietitian helps active-duty military women lose weight gained during pregnancy more effectively than standard postpartum care. It will follow 74 first-time mothers for a year after birth, tracking their weight, diet, activity, sleep, and breastfeeding. The main goal is to see if the diet coaching helps more women meet the military's required weight and fitness standards by 12 weeks and one year after having a baby.
