Summary
This study looks at how diet and gut bacteria are linked to sarcopenia, a condition where older adults lose muscle mass and strength. Researchers will analyze the diets and gut microbes of 1,220 people aged 60 and older. The goal is to understand if certain foods that cause inflammation affect muscle health through changes in gut bacteria, which could lead to better dietary advice for preventing muscle loss.
