New diet offers hope for kids with Crohn's disease
NCT ID NCT07211789
Summary
This study looked at how well a specific dietary plan works for children with active Crohn's disease in real-world settings. It combined a special Crohn's Disease Exclusion Diet (CDED) with partial liquid nutrition (PEN). The main goal was to see if this diet could help children achieve remission without needing steroid medications and to see if it healed the gut lining.
