Fighting night shift dangers with food

NCT ID NCT04868526

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific diet can prevent or reduce the negative health effects of working night shifts, like an increased risk of diabetes. Healthy adults will stay in a research facility twice, eat provided meals, and give blood and other samples. Researchers will check if the diet improves how the body handles sugar and changes gut bacteria.
