Scientists test diet and exercise combo to stop diabetes before it starts
NCT ID NCT07326891
Summary
This study is testing whether adding supervised cycling and rowing exercise to a Mediterranean-style diet improves blood sugar control in women with prediabetes better than the diet alone. Researchers will follow 30 women for 12 weeks, using continuous glucose monitors to track daily sugar levels. They want to see if this lifestyle program can help prevent the progression to type 2 diabetes.
