Can a 12-Week lifestyle blitz reverse new diabetes?
NCT ID NCT03839667
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week intensive lifestyle program—either a strict low-calorie diet or a high-intensity exercise plan—works better than standard diabetes education for controlling blood sugar. It involves 326 adults in China who were recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are overweight. The goal is to see if these focused programs can help manage the disease and potentially reduce the need for medication.
