Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month program of dietary counseling and group exercise can reduce heart disease risk in people with severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. About 70 adults will either receive the lifestyle program plus usual care, or usual care alone. The goal is to see if healthy habits can improve both physical and mental health in this vulnerable group.
