NCT ID NCT07509502
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether providing Mediterranean diet groceries along with virtual nutrition classes helps adults at risk for type 2 diabetes improve their eating habits and lose weight. Forty overweight adults from the US South will be randomly assigned to receive either weekly food deliveries alone or food deliveries plus weekly cooking and nutrition classes for 4 weeks. Researchers will compare changes in diet quality and body weight between the two groups to see which approach works better.
