First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether providing ingredients for a Mediterranean diet, with or without virtual nutrition classes, can lower type 2 diabetes risk in adults with overweight or obesity. Forty participants from southern US states will be randomly assigned to receive weekly grocery deliveries alone or with weekly cooking classes for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in diet quality and body weight to see which approach works better.
