Could fasting and a Plant-Based diet supercharge chemo?

NCT ID NCT05359848

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a specific diet plan can be safely combined with standard chemotherapy. The plan involves fasting on alternate days before chemo and eating a plant-based protein diet. The main goal is to see if patients can stick to this diet and if it might help chemotherapy work better against tumors while reducing side effects.
