This study aims to understand how a child's nutrition at the start of leukemia treatment affects their body composition—specifically the loss of muscle and gain of fat. Researchers will observe 115 Indian children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) to see if these body changes impact their treatment success and survival. The study will also compare outcomes between children following vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets.
