Scientists hunt for hidden clues in your blood to track your diet
NCT ID NCT06656338
Summary
This study aims to find better, more objective ways to measure what people eat by looking for chemical clues in blood and urine. Researchers will feed 30 healthy adults two different diet patterns—one healthier and one less healthy—in a controlled setting. They will analyze samples to see if they can detect specific 'biomarkers' that show what kind of diet a person is eating, moving beyond just asking people to remember and report their food.
