Summary

This study looked at whether a diet rich in seaweed and Mediterranean foods can help people with pre-diabetes fight off infections. 45 adults with pre-diabetes took part. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar, insulin, gut bacteria, and immune markers to see if the diet could improve health and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
