Summary
This study looked at how breathing in diesel exhaust affects the heart and blood vessels in healthy adults aged 50-75 who have a specific gene variation (GSTM1 null). Six volunteers breathed in three different levels of diesel exhaust over several weeks. The goal was to understand the body's response, not to treat any disease.
