Summary
This study tests whether applying diclofenac gel (like Voltaren) to the skin before radiation therapy can prevent painful burns. About 156 adults with head/neck or breast cancer will use the gel daily during their radiation course. The goal is to see if this simple anti-inflammatory approach reduces severe skin reactions and keeps treatment on track.
